PRIME Research Director Vikram Patel recently served as co-chair on the Lancet Global Mental Health Commission. PRIME CEO Prof Crick Lund, PRIME Nepal PI Prof Mark Jordans and Professor Sir Graham Thornicroft, a PRIME colleague affiliated with King's College London also served on the Commission which launched its report on World Mental Health Day.
On 23 August 2018, the PRIME South Africa team presented their findings to the Department of Health's Ministerial Advisory Committee on Mental Health.

PRIME Ethiopia recently held a community advisory board meeting in Ethiopia's Sodo district. Many delegates from across the Sodo District attended the event. Officials from the Federal Ministry of Health as well as the zonal and district health office were present.
The PRIME Nepal team recently undertook training of 40 health workers working as Auxiliary Nurse Midwives (ANM) and Staff Nurses at the antenatal and postnatal clinics in 20 health facilities in the country.
PRIME members came together in February for the seventh annual meeting in Durban, South Africa.
